Privacy Walls / Stem-Walls / Footers

A Privacy wall is a structure that encloses an area, typically outdoors, and is usually constructed with a reinforced concrete footer and masonry blocks or posts that are connected by boards, wire, rails or netting. Stem walls are supporting structures that are used as a means of joining the foundation of a building with the vertical walls constructed on the foundation. The wall is often constructed with the use of concrete and steel, and works with the foundational slab to create a solid basis for the building. Footers are typically made of concrete with rebar reinforcement that has been poured into an excavated trench. The purpose of footings is to support the foundation and prevent settling.
